International Defence Exhibition & Conference (IDEC) 2024

The 2nd International Defence Exhibition and Conference (IDEC 2024) will gather defense experts and industry leaders from across Africa and beyond, with a focus on technological advancements in drones and unmanned systems.

Hosted by the Ghana Army, IDEC 2024 will center around enhancing regional cooperation and improving security frameworks to address the critical challenges faced by the continent.

IDEC 2024 is scheduled to take place over two days, from 28-29 August 2024.

The theme for IDEC 2024 is “Enhancing Regional Mechanisms for Addressing Contemporary Security Challenges in Africa.”

The event will cover critical topics such as the rise of violent extremism, the effectiveness of existing security frameworks, and the integration of advanced technologies, particularly unmanned systems and drones, into regional security strategies.

The conference will also emphasize the importance of interagency collaboration, integrating efforts across military, police, and intelligence sectors to create a cohesive approach to security.
