The event will examine the evolving requirements of battlefield mobility and armored capability, including lessons from current conflicts, major modernization and acquisition programs, and the technologies shaping future land forces.
International Armoured Vehicles 2027 will take place from January 19–21, 2027.
IAV 2027 is structured around four core themes covering the lifecycle of armored capability: Firepower; Protection & Survivability; Emerging Technologies; and Endurance, Repair & Battlefield Logistics.
The Firepower track will examine how forces are modernizing direct and indirect fire capabilities to restore battlefield overmatch across increasingly contested environments.
Topics include modernizing tanks, turrets, and vehicle-mounted weapon systems; integrating missiles and organic precision effects; combining platform firepower with sensors, UGVs, and digital targeting; countering loitering munitions, long-range fires, and drone threats; and examining the future role of directed energy weapons.

The Protection & Survivability track will examine how armored platforms and formations can remain effective when they can be detected, targeted, and engaged across multiple domains.
Sessions will cover advanced armor and signature management, Active Protection Systems, vehicle-level and formation-level counter-UAS, electronic warfare, protection against drones and loitering munitions, and the integration of survivability technologies on existing platforms.
The Emerging Technologies track will focus on how AI, autonomy, robotics, digital systems, and new power technologies are moving from experimentation toward operational capability.
Topics include UGVs, human-machine teaming, robotic systems, AI and machine learning, battlefield data, software-defined armored platforms, digital twins, autonomous systems and RAS integration, hybrid and electrified mobility, and assured PNT in GPS-denied environments.
The track will also examine how emerging technologies can be integrated into existing fleets and force structures.
The Endurance, Repair & Battlefield Logistics track will focus on sustaining armored combat power in contested environments.
Topics include in-service support, fleet availability, battle damage repair and recovery, spare parts and ammunition availability, digital solutions for logistics operations, multinational supply chain management, military mobility, industrial support and resilience, and interoperability between allies and industry.
