INDO Defence 2027

Indo Defence 2027 Expo & Forum is described as Indonesia’s official tri-service defense, aerospace, maritime, and security event.

Hosted by the Ministry of Defence of the Republic of Indonesia, Indo Defence Expo & Forum has been held since 2004 and is a biennial event for the defense, aerospace, maritime, security, and military technology sectors.

The exhibition is designed to bring together global professionals, including government officials, armed forces representatives, procurement experts, and manufacturers, to showcase the latest capabilities shaping modern security. Across both the exhibition and forum, the event will cover sectors such as land, air, and naval defense, cybersecurity, unmanned systems, and military technology.

Trade visitor exhibition hours are:

• 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm on May 12, 2027
• 10:00 am – 6:00 pm on May 13–14, 2027

Public visitor hours are:

Event Themes

Indo Defence 2027 Expo & Forum will focus on defense, aerospace, maritime, security, and military technology. Key areas include advanced defense technologies, regional and international cooperation, business and investment opportunities, defense procurement discussions, strategic partnerships, and Indonesia’s defense industry capabilities.

The event will also highlight technology transfer, international partnerships, foreign contracts and joint ventures, Indonesia’s defense export and technology capabilities, and indigenous platforms connected to regional defense independence.

The Indo Defence product demonstration program gives exhibitors the opportunity to demonstrate their products in an outdoor area measuring 80 x 120 meters. The demonstration area includes LEDs, vehicle obstacles, and decorations designed to support dynamic product displays.

The product demonstration program will run across the four days of the event, divided into several sessions, with a special demonstration planned for the opening ceremony.

Indo Defence Forum

The Indo Defence Forum will bring together defense, aerospace, maritime, and security professionals with senior military and defense officials. The forum is intended to address key regional issues and provide access to defense decision-makers in one location.

Technical Product Presentations

Exhibitors will be able to take part in complimentary technical product presentations covering the latest solutions and techniques across the defense, aerospace, maritime, and security sectors.

Attendance for these presentations is complimentary, although seating is limited and allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Visitors are asked to register directly with the presenting companies to secure a seat.

Business Matchmaking

The event includes a B2B business matchmaking platform designed to connect companies, entrepreneurs, and business professionals with potential partners and new markets.

By registering for the platform, participants can indicate their preferences so meetings can be arranged with companies of interest. The format is designed to support focused business networking and potential B2B cooperation.

Workshops and Networking

The event will include hands-on workshops led by industry experts, live technology demonstrations, and networking opportunities for defense professionals and industry representatives.

Previous editions of Indo Defence Expo & Forum have reported 21 years of success in presenting Indonesia and ASEAN business opportunities.

Past event figures include 1,183 companies, 55 exhibitor countries, 32 country pavilions, 76 heads of delegation from 42 countries, and 45,600+ visitors from 67 countries.

The event has also featured international seminars, forums, presentations, and demonstrations.

Relevant attendees include diplomats, senior government officials, Ministry of Defence representatives, armed forces personnel, local government representatives, airport and seaport authorities, defense procurement experts, sales and marketing executives, research and development specialists, consultants, engineers, law enforcement agencies, distributors, suppliers, agents, and journalists.

Ticket Information

The exhibition is open to professional, business, and trade visitors only during trade days. Admission is free for trade visitors.

The general public and visitors below 18 years old are not allowed entry during trade days. Public visitors may attend on May 15, 2027, with an admission fee. Tickets for public visitors will be available via app and website, with further details to be announced.

All visitors must be properly attired. Trade visitors wearing shorts, sleeveless T-shirts or shirts, or slippers will not be permitted entry. The organizer reserves the right to refuse entry to any individual, organization, or group at its discretion.
