About Counter UAS Technology USA 2026

Counter UAS Technology USA 2026 is the sixth annual edition of this conference focused on advancing counter-unmanned aerial systems capabilities to strengthen US defense against evolving drone threats. The event will take place from November 30 to December 2, 2026, in Arlington, Virginia.

Organized by SAE Media Group, the conference brings together military and government counter-UAS program managers, policymakers, research and development specialists, and industry representatives. Discussions will examine how the United States can improve its ability to detect, deter, and neutralize hostile and illicit UAS activity, particularly in light of increasing operational and homeland security challenges.

The 2026 edition builds on the strong attendance of the previous year and is structured to support focused dialogue around counter-small UAS priorities, capability gaps, and implementation challenges affecting US forces, government agencies, and allied partners.

When Is the Event? Counter UAS Technology USA

Counter UAS Technology USA will be held from November 30 to December 2, 2026.

The program opens with a dedicated Focus Day on November 30, followed by the Main Conference on December 1–2.

Themes

The conference centers on strengthening US counter-UAS capabilities across operational, policy, and technical domains. Themes include the development and integration of systems designed to identify, track, intercept, and defeat unmanned aerial threats, as well as approaches to protecting personnel, assets, and critical infrastructure.

The agenda also reflects the growing importance of coordinated national efforts, including recent initiatives aimed at addressing illegal and hostile drone activity through improved detection, deterrence, and response measures.

What’s On?

The Focus Day on November 30 will concentrate on Mobile Deployable Counter UAS, examining how mounted, dismounted, and on-the-move systems can be integrated to provide operational advantage against rogue drones. Sessions will explore how these capabilities can be deployed effectively in dynamic operational environments.

The Main Conference on December 1–2 will continue discussions on countermeasure development and system integration, with attention given to the full lifecycle of counter-UAS operations—from detection and targeting through interception and defeat. The program is structured to support in-depth discussion among military, government, and industry stakeholders.

Speakers

Speaker participation is expected from across the US military, federal government, international allies, and industry. Attendees will hear from individuals involved in counter-UAS program management, policy development, research and development, and capability delivery. Specific speaker names have not yet been confirmed.
