The C-UAS & Integrated Protection Summit 2026 will bring together military leaders, federal agencies, industry representatives, and academic experts to examine evolving counter-unmanned aerial systems strategies and integrated protection capabilities. Hosted by Defense Strategies Institute, the event focuses on how government and defense organizations are addressing increasingly sophisticated unmanned aerial system threats through layered defense architectures, joint operational planning, and interagency coordination.
The summit will explore operational and strategic approaches for detecting, deterring, and defeating unmanned aerial systems across homeland and deployed environments. Discussions will also examine the role of interoperability, tactical readiness, and accelerated capability development in countering global UAS threats.
The C-UAS & Integrated Protection Summit will take place on September 1–2, 2026.

Sessions throughout the summit will focus on operational counter-UAS strategies, integrated homeland defense, and tactical coordination between military and federal agencies. Topics include domestic protection initiatives involving FBI and JIATF-401 collaboration, tactical-edge counter-UAS operations, layered air defense architectures, and approaches to combating unmanned threats across multiple regions and operational theaters.
Additional discussions will examine kinetic and non-kinetic counter-UAS capabilities, integration of joint force platforms, and efforts to accelerate innovation and deployment of multi-layered protection systems. The summit will also address interoperability between allied partners, readiness initiatives, and strategies for disrupting adversarial unmanned systems networks.
The program will feature keynote presentations, panel discussions, operational briefings, and networking sessions focused on counter-drone technologies and integrated defense operations. Attendees will hear from senior military leaders, government officials, and counter-UAS specialists discussing current operational challenges and capability priorities.
Sessions will cover tactical and strategic implementation of counter-UAS systems, interagency coordination, homeland protection initiatives, and the operational use of layered defense systems against unmanned threats. The agenda also includes opportunities for industry and academic participants to engage directly with government and military stakeholders.
The summit is open and complimentary for Department of War and federal government employees, while industry and academic attendees are subject to registration fees. The event is closed to press and recordings are not permitted.
