The KG-250XS is Viasat's lowest-SWaP Inline Network Encryptor (INE), designed to provide secure IP encryption for up to TS/SCI communications with over 200 Mbps aggregate, asymmetric throughput that can be split according to specific mission requirements. The NSA-Certified Type 1 HAIPE is ideal for protecting the transmissions of tactical UAVs and unmanned systems as well as dismounted and mobile applications.

The rugged MIL-STD-810-compliant device offers pass-through Layer 2 traffic using Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN)/Ethernet tunneling over Layer 3 networks. It features a field-proven software-upgradeable design, allowing it to keep pace with rapidly evolving cybersecurity requirements without the need for hardware changes. The versatile unit provides Advanced Cryptographic Capabilities (ACC), is Over-The-Network Keying (OTNK) Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) Aware, and is Personal Data Encryption (PDE)-enabled.
