The Bowtech Surveyor HD II is a high-definition underwater camera designed for detailed visual inspection from ROVs, AUVs, and other subsea robotic platforms. It provides Full HD imagery at up to 60 fps with a 16:9 aspect ratio, together with a 74° wide field of view and 30:1 optical zoom for close-range examination. Focus, iris, white balance, auto tracking, backlight compensation, image stabilization, and true wide dynamic range support operation across changing underwater lighting conditions.
The camera is rated to 4,000 m and combines a titanium housing with a sapphire viewing window. Multiple control methods are supported, including RS-232, RS-485, tristate, 2-wire bipolar, and Bowtech control software. Initial configuration can also be performed using the supplied Bluetooth Android controller, while Full 3G HD-SDI video is transmitted over coax.
