The HydroPACT 440 MK2 is a subsea tracking system designed for integration with ROVs performing pipeline, cable, and target survey operations. It delivers real-time positioning information for pipelines, HVAC cables, and UXO, supporting depth-of-burial measurements and target localization at operating depths of either 3,000 m or 6,000 m. The platform retains the principal performance and operational characteristics of the preceding HydroPACT 440 system.
Vehicle integration is designed to be straightforward, with no lengthy ROV calibration procedure required before operation. Survey information is displayed through the DeepView software environment, providing operators with a familiar interface for interpreting target-position data during remote subsea missions. Existing HydroPACT 440 installations can also be upgraded to the MK2 configuration.
