The BlueView M900 Mk2 is a compact 2D multibeam imaging sonar developed for underwater robots requiring real-time acoustic imagery with low power consumption. Operating at 900 kHz, it provides a 130° field of view, a maximum range of 100 m, and an optimum operating range of 2 to 60 m. Its open nose cone architecture is designed to improve acoustic performance while retaining a form factor suitable for vehicle integration.
The sonar operates while the host platform is moving or stationary, supporting continuous scene visualization during remotely operated or autonomous missions. Up to 768 beams, 0.18° beam spacing, and 1.3 cm range resolution provide detailed acoustic coverage, with update rates reaching 25 Hz. Sonar video can also be recorded together with position information for later review.
