The LSM200-IP69K is a rugged, capacitive coolant level sensor engineered for demanding UAV and defense applications. Constructed from hard-anodized aluminum and certified to IP69K, it delivers consistent liquid level readings in extreme thermal, mechanical, and fluid exposure conditions. The sensor’s solid-state architecture eliminates moving components, maintaining stable accuracy even when installed in non-vertical or inverted orientations. Designed with a compact 2-bolt mounting system and integrated electronics, it provides analog (0–5 VDC), CAN, or combined outputs without requiring external processing.
This sensor supports continuous real-time coolant monitoring across temperatures from -40°C to +125°C, with extended variants rated to +150°C. Its resilience to shock, vibration, and differential tank pressures up to 2 bar (and optionally 10 bar) ensures reliable performance in defense UAV systems where mission endurance and system health monitoring are critical. Factory-calibrated to the customer’s specified fluid type, the LSM200-IP69K is compatible with common fuel, oil, and coolant formulations including gasoline, AVGAS, JET-A, JP-4, JP-8, and glycol mixtures. MIL-STD-461G and RTCA DO-160F EMC compliance confirms readiness for integration into airworthy, military-grade platforms.
