UV643
Permabond UV643 is a thixotropic acrylic adhesive that cures extremely quickly under UV light at wavelengths from 365 to 420 nm. It develops strong, tack-free bonds on rigid plastics such as polycarbonate, PMMA, PETG, PET, ABS and rigid PVC, including combinations with metals. The cured adhesive resists yellowing and is durable under warm, humid conditions and thermal cycling.
UV643 is ideal for camera lens bonding in drone imaging systems and optical payloads. It supports rapid assembly of compatible lenses, housings and transparent plastic components, with a clear cured appearance and high shear strength on polycarbonate assemblies.
