The Packet Digital MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracker) provides power conversion for solar-powered drones with industry-leading efficiency, with state-of-the-art adaptive search algorithms that rapidly adjust settingsto maintain maximum power transfer from solar panels to battery storage.
With compact electronics and 200W peak capacity, the MPPT tracks a wide range of factors, such as sunlight changes, solar panel temperature and vehicle orientation, and pushes solar UAS operations to their limits. The system can be customised to meet unique mission requirements.
The MPPT has been selected by the U.S. Naval Research Lab (NRL) to provide high-efficiency power management for a long-endurance portable and hand-launchable solar UAS.
