The D5-B TDOA+ Drone Detection and Positioning System is a passive drone detection solution designed to monitor and secure low-altitude airspace around critical assets and infrastructure. Utilizing Cognitive Radio Protocol Cracking (CRPC) technology alongside Time Difference of Arrival (TDOA) positioning, the system detects, identifies, locates, and tracks drone activity without transmitting electromagnetic signals. Its compact and lightweight design enables both permanent installation and flexible deployment, making it suitable for airports, public safety operations, correctional facilities, stadiums, utilities, and other environments requiring persistent airspace awareness.
Supporting operation across the 30 MHz to 6 GHz spectrum, the D5-B autonomously classifies and identifies drone targets while distinguishing between different aircraft of the same brand and model through electronic fingerprint recognition. Multi-unit networking capabilities enable coordinated positioning and trajectory tracking of multiple drones simultaneously, while blacklist and whitelist management helps operators differentiate authorized platforms from potential threats. With support for a wide variety of commercial, FPV, Wi-Fi, and DIY drone types, the system provides broad coverage of the current drone landscape and delivers continuous, passive monitoring for counter-UAS and airspace security applications.
