Advanced Autonomy Suite
Kutta Technologies has developed a number of specialized software components that can be combined together to create a powerful autonomy engine for UAVs and unmanned systems. Modules include:
- Auto-routing – finds the most efficient path around obstacles in real time
- Radio frequency LOS analysis – determines area where the UAS can be safely controlled, for display on mapping applications or use by other autonomy systems
- Sensor footprint & footprint history – gathers real-time vehicle latitude/longitude/altitude and EO/IR pan/tilt/zoom information to determine sensor’s actual projection onto the ground
- Autonomous route & area survey – generates a STANAG 4586-compliant flight plan and a series of payload commands
- Airspace management – utilizes user-inputted Restricted Operating Zones (ROZs), No-Fly Zones (NFZs), and flight corridors defined by airspace management authorities to define a Safe Airspace Volume
- Flight planning – allows the operator to insert, delete, and modify speed and heading of waypoints while viewing a 2D or 3D geo-rectified environment
- MPEG metadata – digitizes MPEG 1, 2, or 4 video and displays in real time, with time-stamped and embedded vehicle parameters
- Battle Damage Assessment – allows users to designate standoff distance and direction of photographic and video reconnaissance
