The DA 35 EFI MIL SPEC UAV Engine from HFE International is a military-grade 35 cc engine featuring an electronic fuel injection system that has logged over 67,000 flight hours across more than 700 aircraft in varied global environments. Tested to operate at altitudes up to 20,000 ft and in temperatures from –10 °F to 120 °F, the system has undergone the majority of laboratory methods under MIL-STD-810, confirming its suitability for demanding defense and aerospace applications.
Alternator options include a 200 W power management unit (PMU) providing outputs of 12–15 VDC at up to 200 W and 4.8–7 VDC at up to 42 W, with a 24 V option available. A 400 W starter-alternator is also offered, directly driven from the crankshaft and compatible with a 500 W PMU featuring an integrated starter controller for remote engine start. This PMU supports outputs of 24–28 VDC at up to 350 W, 12–15 VDC at up to 108 W, and 4.8–8 VDC at up to 42 W. All systems are configurable with LiIon, LiPo, LiFePO4, SLA, NiCad, NiMH, and lead acid batteries, with custom alternator solutions available upon request.
