The DA 100 EFI MIL SPEC UAV Engine from HFE International is a military-grade 100 cc engine equipped with an electronic fuel injection system in active service across more than 700 aircraft, with over 67,000 flight hours logged in diverse environments worldwide. Tested to 20,000 ft altitude and temperatures from –10 °F to 120 °F, the system has undergone the majority of MIL-STD-810 laboratory procedures, ensuring operational reliability in challenging conditions.
The engine can be fitted with a 400 W starter-alternator, directly driven from the crankshaft, and paired with a 500 W power management unit (PMU) featuring an integrated starter controller for remote starting capability. The PMU provides three selectable outputs: 24–28 VDC at up to 350 W, 12–15 VDC at up to 108 W, and 4.8–8 VDC at up to 42 W. The system supports LiIon, LiPo, LiFePO4, SLA, NiCad, NiMH, and lead acid batteries. Custom alternator configurations are available upon request.
