LOCTITE® AA 326 is a two-step, high-viscosity acrylic adhesive designed for rapid, high-strength bonding of metal components and ferrite materials. Its thixotropic consistency supports controlled application, while a fixture time of under three minutes helps accelerate assembly processes. When activated with LOCTITE® SF 7649, the adhesive develops shear strength up to 15 N/mm² and is suitable for general structural bonding where metal-to-metal adhesion is required.
The adhesive is particularly suited to magnet-bonding applications, including attachment of magnets within electric motors, and can operate at temperatures up to 120°C (248°F). Its combination of fast curing, strong adhesion to different ferrite types, and resistance to flow during application makes LOCTITE® AA 326 suitable for precision industrial assembly. Viscoelastic and finite-strain FEA data cards are also available for engineering analysis.
