The Universal PoE Module from BotBlox is a compact PoE injector module designed to simplify Power over Ethernet integration in embedded and SWaP-constrained systems. The module supports passive PoE alongside IEEE 802.3af, IEEE 802.3at, and IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 and Type 4 standards, providing a single PoE injection solution across passive and IEEE-standard PoE implementations. By combining power and Ethernet data over the same connection, it helps reduce cabling complexity while delivering up to 89W of PoE power. The module supports 10BASE-T, 100BASE-T, and 1000BASE-T Ethernet communications.
Measuring just 28 x 28 x 11 mm, the Universal PoE Module incorporates Molex PicoBlade connectors, transient-protected power inputs, and an operating temperature range of -40°C to +85°C. An onboard microcontroller and 3.3V UART interface provide support for future firmware-based management and diagnostic functionality, while NDAA compliance helps meet sourcing requirements for applicable programs. The module features one Ethernet port and one Ethernet + PoE port with Gigabit Ethernet data pass-through.
