The AR41ESC is a four-in-one electronic speed controller developed for demanding defense UAS applications. Compatible with 6–12S LiPo batteries, it delivers at least 60 A of continuous current per channel and 90 A of burst current per channel for 10 seconds. The compact, 51-gram board is ideal for UAV platforms with restricted space and weight budgets, and is built using non-Chinese-origin components.
A 10-layer PCB with high-purity copper construction provides the basis for the controller’s high current capacity, with passive heat sink cooling. AM32-compatible firmware accommodates bidirectional DShot 300 & 600 and Servo PWM. Bidirectional DShot and KISS telemetry, together with analog or digital current sensing output, provide feedback to the aircraft’s control electronics.
Built-in protection includes current limiting, overcurrent and temperature protection, low-voltage cutoff and signal-loss timeout. The AR41ESC also features drain-source voltage monitoring, cross-conduction prevention, stuck-rotor and stall protection, and rotor-lock detection. Power and motor lead connections use dedicated holes for 6 AWG and 12 AWG wiring respectively, with provision for an external capacitor near the power leads.
