HAVELSAN has demonstrated the coordinated integration and operation of unmanned air and maritime platforms during a recent live field exercise.

The demonstration paired the USV-12 unmanned surface vessel, manufactured by VN MARITIME, with the SAGAN unmanned aerial vehicle, developed by ASİSGUARD. During the trial, the vessel carried out autonomous navigation while serving as a deployment asset for the aerial system. The UAV launched autonomously from the surface vessel, released a 60 mm mortar round onto a designated target, and completed its flight profile.

Command and control, mission management, and autonomous systems developed by HAVELSAN underpinned the trial, allowing the different platforms to operate within an integrated operational picture under operator supervision. The activity validated both target engagement capabilities and the ability of maritime unmanned assets to deploy and support aerial systems directly in the field.

HAVELSAN designs its mission architectures to meet NATO interoperability standards, allowing platforms from different manufacturers to connect into a unified control framework. The company is continuing the development of these autonomy, mission management, and command solutions to support multi-domain operations across cross-manufacturer systems.
