Global counter-drone technology developer DroneShield has introduced Mission Ready Services, a comprehensive lifecycle support offering designed to maintain operational readiness and optimize performance across its field deployments.

With more than 4,100 software-enabled DroneShield devices currently deployed across military, government, public safety, critical infrastructure, and commercial security sectors, the suite addresses the challenge of sustaining counter-drone capabilities throughout their operational lifecycle. Offered as an annual renewable subscription alongside DroneShield hardware, the program consolidates software enhancements, specialized training, expert support, and digital asset management into a unified framework.

“Counter-drone capability is no longer defined solely by hardware performance,” said Angus Bean, Chief Executive Officer of DroneShield. “Mission success depends on keeping systems updated, operators trained and support available when it matters most. Mission Ready Services reflects DroneShield’s commitment to supporting customers throughout the entire operational lifecycle, so a system deployed today is as ready in three years as the day it was fielded.”

The Mission Ready Services framework delivers four core operational capabilities:

  • Software Updates: Provides continuous access to software releases, feature enhancements, security updates, and performance improvements to keep counter-drone systems optimized against evolving threats.
  • eLearning: Offers on-demand, self-paced training resources ranging from foundational device operation to mission-specific applications, featuring completion tracking and certification to maintain operator proficiency.
  • Support: Grants direct access to specialist technical support teams for rapid issue resolution and triage, minimizing downtime during critical operations with basic and extended options.
  • Access Portal: Serves as a centralized digital gateway for customers to manage documentation, training modules, subscription renewals, support tickets, and system planning resources.

“Customers are making significant investments in counter-drone capabilities to protect personnel, assets, infrastructure, and operations,” added Louis Gamarra, DroneShield Chief Commercial Officer. “Mission Ready Services ensures those investments continue delivering value throughout the life of the system while enabling teams to operate with greater confidence and effectiveness.”

Mission Ready Services is available globally across DroneShield’s existing and next-generation product lines, with existing software subscription customers transitioning to the new structure at their next renewal.
