Discover World-Leading Unmanned and Autonomous Technologies
Discover cutting-edge solutions from leading global suppliersRheinmetall is showcasing Skyspotter, a counter-UAS system at Eurosatory 2026 in Paris, positioning the technology as a dedicated protection solution for critical infrastructure, including airports.

Drone-related disruption at European airports is becoming a growing concern. While some incidents involve hobby drone operators, authorities are also paying closer attention to the risk of deliberate sabotage and hybrid threats. Such events can be difficult to anticipate and may cause serious disruption to airport operations, as well as significant financial losses.
Skyspotter has been developed to provide early warning of potential airborne threats. The system brings together multiple sensor technologies to help detect, identify, and continuously track potential airborne threats in sensitive airspace.
By delivering real-time situational information, Skyspotter is intended to support decision-making by security personnel and enable a flexible response to potential threats near airports. The system adds to Rheinmetall’s wider drone defence portfolio, which covers civil and military applications.
Rheinmetall is presenting Skyspotter at Eurosatory 2026 from 15 to 19 June, with further information available at stand F115/F116.
