Turkish defense company ASELSAN highlighted its integrated multi-domain defense portfolio and expanded its international cooperation through two strategic defense agreements at EUROSATORY 2026.

The company showcased capabilities across the air, land, maritime, and electromagnetic domains, including its Steel Dome layered air defense architecture. Key exhibits included the KALKAN II/M vehicle-mounted mobile search radar and DRONEDEF, an integrated Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) concept.

DRONEDEF brings together the İHTAR anti-drone system, GÖKBERK laser weapon system, KORKUT 100/25 SB anti-drone weapon system, and EJDERHA high-power electromagnetic anti-UAV system to provide complementary hard-kill, directed-energy, and electromagnetic effects against evolving drone threats.

Additional systems on display included the KORAL AD mobile radar electronic warfare system, the TOLUN family of precision-guided munitions, and the KILIÇ family of Autonomous Underwater Vehicles (AUVs).

To strengthen its international footprint and support interoperability across allied defense ecosystems, ASELSAN signed two cooperation agreements during the event. The company signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Daimler Truck to explore opportunities for integrating ASELSAN payloads and systems onto Mercedes-Benz Truck-branded Daimler Truck platforms.

The collaboration is intended to support participation in air defense and electronic warfare programs, while establishing a framework for joint marketing and business development activities for mutually agreed customers. Koluman, the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) for Daimler Truck in Türkiye, will support the implementation of the cooperation.

ASELSAN also signed a Letter of Intent with VIC TEC, a Unmanned Surface Vehicle (USV) platform and interceptor drone manufacturer in Latvia, to enhance Latvia’s C-UAS capabilities in the areas of detectors and effectors. The partnership aims to deepen defense cooperation between Türkiye and Latvia.

Ahmet Akyol, ASELSAN President & CEO, commented, “ASELSAN’s counter-UAV, precision-strike, electronic warfare and autonomous systems continue to attract strong interest from armed forces around the world, underscoring the growing need for integrated and operationally proven defense capabilities.

“Our presence at EUROSATORY 2026 reflects both the breadth of our technology portfolio and the strength of our international partnerships. Through the solutions we are exhibiting and the agreements we have signed, ASELSAN is further expanding its role as a trusted global defense partner, delivering multi-domain capabilities that meet the evolving challenges of today’s security environment.”
