Discover cutting-edge solutions from 17 leading global suppliers
Titan Batteries has officially opened a flagship European production facility at the Energy Conversion Campus on the Bosch premises in Tilburg, the Netherlands.
This expansion is thought to make Titan the first major battery supplier in the Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) industry to operate full-scale production facilities on multiple continents. By localizing manufacturing at a premier European energy innovation hub, the company aims to strengthen the European Value Chain and provide regional partners with direct access to proprietary technology. The move is designed to reduce lead times and eliminate the logistical complexities of trans-Atlantic shipping for commercial mapping, critical infrastructure, and defense operations.
The selection of the Energy Conversion Campus allows Titan to integrate into a world-class environment dedicated to power electronics. This synergy supports the rapid scaling of high-density lithium-ion pack production while maintaining established quality standards. The facility will focus on assembling high-capacity packs, including those utilizing advanced silicon-anode technology, and will serve as a hub for rapid prototyping and custom-designed power solutions.
Trent Clawson, Owner of Titan Power, commented, “Opening our EU production facility in Tilburg is a monumental step for Titan and our global partners. We are not just opening a warehouse; we are launching a full-scale production center that mirrors our US operations. Our goal is to work more closely with European partners to develop the next generation of flight power, tailored specifically to the unique needs and regulatory landscape of the EU Market.”
The localization of production ensures that European manufacturers can access batteries offering up to double the energy density of traditional packs without relying on long-distance imports. This approach keeps high-tech manufacturing expertise within EU borders and provides an “ITAR-friendly” supply chain.
William Jolley, CCO of Titan Power, stated, “We take immense pride in being the first major battery supplier in the UAV sector to have multi-continental production. This isn’t just about growth; it’s about providing our customers with the security of a localized supply chain and the speed they need to keep their fleets in the air.”
The Tilburg site is expected to scale up rapidly throughout 2026, utilizing advanced automation and a dedicated in-house engineering team. Having production capabilities in both Idaho, USA, and the Netherlands provides the industry with an unprecedented level of redundancy and supply chain security.
Ronald Meeuwissen, Managing Director of Titan Power NL, added, “After eight years of dedication to Titan Power, I am incredibly proud to take this step and launch our European production in Tilburg, The Netherlands. Our roadmap for 2026 is ambitious; we are focusing on a rapid scale-up driven by advanced automation and a dedicated in-house engineering team. By fostering close collaborations with local EU partners and prioritizing in-house innovations, we are ensuring that Titan remains the go to standard for UAV endurance across Europe.”
