T-DRONES has upgraded the capabilities of its smart battery series for UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) with the addition of numerous new features that further enhance operational efficiency and safety, such as support for CAN communications.
The product line currently includes two models – 6S 22Ah and 6S 27Ah.
Key capabilities of the upgraded drone batteries include:
- CAN communications
llows easy integration into a wide variety of drone platforms, and provides essential telemetry information such as battery capacity and remaining percentage. - Precision battery management
Precise measurement and intelligent management of key parameters such as voltage, current, temperature, capacity and cycle life of individual battery cells. - Self-balancing function
When the battery has been idle for more than 6 hours, balancing is automatically triggered if the BMS detects that the voltage difference between each cell has reached a preset value. - Automatic parallel activation
When battery CAN lines are connected in parallel for communication, once any one battery is turned on then the rest will follow suit and start up.
The BMS also includes a variety of other useful functionality including power calculation, historical data, parameter configuration, and firmware upgrades through CAN.
