
ARK Electronics has released its new ARK M.2 LTE Module, a connectivity solution engineered to deliver robust and reliable cellular communication.
Built on the Semtech RC7611, RC7620, and RC7630 chipsets, this compact module is designed in an M.2 Key E 2230 form factor, making it an ideal choice for embedded applications and seamless integration with ARK’s hardware ecosystem, including the ARK Jetson PAB Carrier and the upcoming Just a Jetson platform.
The ARK M.2 LTE Module is designed to offer global cellular connectivity, catering to different regional requirements through its three chipset variants:
- RC7611: Optimized for North America, supporting major carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint.
- RC7620: Targeted for EMEA, ensuring reliable performance with Telstra.
- RC7630: Configured for APAC, supporting key operators such as NTT Docomo, KDDI, LGU+, KT, and SKT.
Designed for embedded computing platforms, the ARK M.2 LTE Module is particularly well-suited for use with the ARK Jetson PAB Carrier and future Just a Jetson products. Its M.2 2230 Key E form factor ensures a small footprint, measuring just 23.2mm x 30.0mm x 5.4mm and weighing only 6g.
The module is equipped with USB and UART serial connectivity, providing flexible interfacing options for various applications, including edge AI, robotics, and industrial automation. It also features a Nano SIM slot and dual U.FL antenna connectors, enhancing adaptability for different deployment scenarios.
