DIC Corporation will showcase a prototype of its new HAGAMOSphere™ omnidirectional multicopter at the CES 2025 technology event in Las Vegas, Jan 7-10.

Garnering praise from judges for its innovative design and engineering features, the prototype earned DIC designation as a CES Innovation Awards® 2025 Honoree.

The HAGAMOSphere multirotor drone, with its omnidirectional architecture, can move forward, backward, left, and right without tilting the aircraft. This is due to its eight propellers mounted diagonally on a cubic frame.

A new type of multicopter drone, the HAGAMOSphere can move stably on the ground by incorporating a spherical drone guard composed of a combination of geometric shapes using DIC’s unique technology.

At CES 2025, DIC will introduce the HAGAMOSphere concept model. Through this exhibition, the DIC Group aims to widely promote its technology and solutions to relevant industries and propose new value while exploring new business partners.

Takashi Ikeda, President and CEO of DIC, commented, “We are delighted to be selected as a CES Innovation Awards 2025 Honoree for the first time as the DIC Group. We have a strong desire to provide new value to society through advanced technologies and initiatives. We look forward to showcasing our unique concept model, HAGAMOSphere, at CES 2025.”
