In collaboration with Unique Group and the National Center for Wildlife, RTsys has successfully delivered its COMET300 autonomous underwater vehicle (AUV) to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Set to enhance conservation and research in the region, the COMET300 AUV is designed to play a crucial role in monitoring and preserving marine biodiversity.

Its advanced technology allows for comprehensive underwater surveys, habitat mapping, and environmental monitoring. These capabilities will provide data for ongoing conservation efforts in Saudi Arabia’s waters.

As part of the delivery process, RTsys conducted hands-on training sessions for local experts at the National Wildlife Center.

The training ensures that the team is well-equipped to operate and maintain the AUV effectively. The goal is to empower the team to utilize this technology to its fullest potential in their marine research and conservation work.

RTsys assert that the initiative represents a significant step in strengthening marine research capabilities in Saudi Arabia. By leveraging advanced technology, RTsys and its partners are supporting the Kingdom’s vision for environmental sustainability and wildlife conservation.

The delivery of the COMET300 AUV is reportedly expected to have a lasting impact on marine research and conservation efforts in Saudi Arabia, contributing to a better understanding and protection of the country’s rich marine biodiversity.
