Innovation has never existed in a vacuum. Our world’s greatest technological advances are remembered not just for their scientific significance, but for the way they transformed the fabric of society itself. That’s why it’s critical that global leaders in uncrewed and autonomous technology collaborate on cutting-edge innovations that safely, securely, and reliably improve the human experience.

AUVSI XPONENTIAL 2022 is where you can join that conversation.

XPONENTIAL is the world’s foremost gathering for innovators and users of autonomous technologies. Powered by the reach and influence of AUVSI, the conference brings together thousands of leaders from business, government, and academia to share use cases, experience new technology, strike up new partnerships, and solve real-world problems.

This year, XPONENTIAL is back for the first fully in-person event since 2019. After two exciting years of online and hybrid programming, you can expect a buzzing XPO Hall and packed keynote sessions as you reconnect with your peers, partners, and customers.

As an uncrewed systems professional, you’re working on new ideas that will transform the future of autonomy. XPONENTIAL is your chance to connect with others tackling the same challenges you are—and learn from the greatest thinkers in every sector.

Running from April 25-28 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, XPONENTIAL 2022 will explore the intersection of autonomy and society as attendees work together to define the next era of autonomous systems. Experiences include an expanded outdoor technology demo space, new immersive workshops, and a new interactive Sandbox for real-time collaboration. Keep reading to learn more about three new additions to the XPONENTIAL program. Visit the event website for more information, or click here if you’re ready to claim your spot.

1. The Sandbox

XPONENTIAL 2022 is all about the intersection of new ideas. The Sandbox introduces a new dedicated space for problem-solving and exploration, enabling greater collaboration among attendees. Positioned in the heart of the XPO Hall, the Sandbox will feature brief presentations of research questions or problem statements, followed by rapid prototyping and brainstorming with participants.

2. The Automated Goods Movement Summit

Automated freight and last-mile delivery are some of the fastest-growing and most publicly visible sectors of our industry. This year, the Automated Goods Movement Summit is co-locating with XPONENTIAL to tackle critical questions about the safe deployment of commercial automated vehicle technologies. The XPO Hall will also feature a dedicated area to display and demonstrate related technologies throughout the week.

Check out the Automated Goods Movement Summit agenda.

3. The Maritime Pavilion

The future of automation isn’t only in the air or on the ground. Developed in partnership with the members of the AUVSI Maritime Advocacy Committee, this year’s XPO Hall will feature a pavilion to highlight the cutting-edge surface and subsurface maritime technologies that are making waves to support defense, logistics, and conservation operations.
