SkyHopperPROMobilicom Limited has entered into a contract to provide its SkyHopper Pro MESH networking product and Mobile Controller Terminal to Smart Shooter, a developer of fire control teleoperation systems. The products will be incorporated into Smart Shooter’s SMASH family of fire control systems, which include its SMASH Hopper Light Remote-Controlled Weapon Station (LRCWS) as well as counter-drone solutions.

The SMASH systems require a robust and highly-secured data link to operate remotely for their customers in Israel and the United States. SkyHopper PRO provides a bi-directional data link that delivers long range and Non-Line of Sight (NLOS) communication with multiple transmission modes. It was originally designed to enable fleet management and autonomy for commercial and industrial drones.

Michal Mor, Smart Shooter CEO, commented: “We are honored to work with Mobilicom, and to combine its innovative technologies and products into our SMASH Hopper family of solutions. Fielded and operational, the SMASH family creates a significant advantage for the infantry soldier and ultimately revolutionizes the world of small arms and optics.”

Oren Elkayam, CEO of Mobilicom, said that Mobilicom products would be integrated in Smart Shooter’s three leading systems, targeting worldwide sales. “Smart Shooter develops innovative technologies that help law enforcement and military professionals quickly and accurately neutralize targets using the teleoperated fire control systems. We are excited to be working with another business showcasing market leading technology, and expect repeat orders from Smart Shooter as it grows sales of its products over the coming years.”
