TerraView has announced the unveiling of the RangePro X8 industrial unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV), which has been specially designed for industrial, first responder and government enterprise data capturing applications. The new UAV features a flight endurance of more than 70 minutes when equipped with a standard payload.
The system’s long endurance time, achieved with a highly efficient design and high-capacity batteries, allows users to capture more data with every flight and spend less time recharging and swapping out batteries. Each battery supports over 500 charging cycles, resulting in longer service life.
The RangePro X8 is available with either an A3 or Pixhawk flight control system. Its data capture capabilities can be used for a wide range of industrial applications such as volumetric studies, thermal imaging, structural integrity surveys, terrain mapping and modeling, construction site planning and utilities inspection.
