AI Camera SoC Integrates Computer Vision and Deep Learning Technologies

CEVA logoCEVA, a developer of signal processing platforms and artificial intelligence processors, has announced that their CEVA-XM6 computer vision and deep learning platform has been integrated into SigmaStar Technology Corp.’s SAV538 Artificial Intelligence (AI) camera System-on-Chip (SoC), to enable advanced computer vision and neural-network based applications.

The SAV538 SoC incorporates the CEVA-XM6 and CEVA Deep Neural Network (CDNN) technologies to enable intelligent video content analytics for a broad range of camera-based applications including unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) surveillance, and autonomous driving. The CEVA platform efficiently supports a combination of computer vision algorithms and neural networks, providing SigmaStar customers with a differentiated, programmable solution on which to develop their AI-based camera applications.
