Simlat maritime simulation module
Simlat, a provider of training and simulation systems for Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS), has announced the availability of a new high-fidelity maritime simulation for new and existing customers that allows for the simulating of UAS in complex maritime environments

The new maritime simulation module includes an enhanced dynamic wave model that takes into account the sea state and the weather conditions, as well as the characteristics of simulated vessels, such as length, weight, drought and center of mass. In addition, the improved visuals support applications such as search & rescue, security, marine life exploration, immigration and piracy surveillance.

Yoni Bar On, Vice President of Products at Simlat, commented: “The enhanced maritime module is an optimal addition to Simlat’s training systems for those who train on applications at sea because it encompasses a wide variety of applications ranging from search and rescue to offshore.”
