KDE Direct has announced its support of the FAA’s Know Before You Fly campaign.

“KDE Direct is pleased to support the safety and responsibility of unmanned aircraft,” said Leslie Koegler, co-founder and co-owner of KDE Direct. “And to that end, we are pleased to do our part in keeping the skies safe.”

The Academy of Model Aeronautics is a co-founder of the Know Before You Fly campaign, along with the Association for Unmanned Vehicle Systems International (AUVSI) and the Small UAV Coalition. The campaign was launched in December 2014 in partnership with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

KDE Direct joins several other safety-minded supporters of the Know Before You Fly campaign, including retailers, end users and members of the greater aviation community.
