Lehmann AviationLehmann Aviation, a manufacturer of professional civil UAVs, together with a worldwide insurance company, has launched new civil liability insurance to provide coverage for provisions under civil law surrounding the use of civilian drones.

The new service provides insurance coverage, advice and councils as well as protection of drones operators’ interests and needs. The policy pays for certain damages that result from aerial operations involving civilian drones, while focusing on the coverage and protection of the liability of the company and that of the pilot. Either ordinary or war risks are covered as well.

The insurance is available worldwide for all civil drone operators. The inception and effects of the coverage is active 48 hours after the reception of all the information.

“As drone operations are spreading worldwide, and due to a lot of requests from different operators and clients, we decided, in association with one leading insurance company, to provide an easy and really low cost insurance for all civil drones operators, with both standard and customized policy to suit any operator”, – says Benjamin Lehmann, Founder and CEO of Lehmann Aviation.

This is the first worldwide insurance for drones operators available online: http://store.lehmannaviation.com/index/index/products/services
