Thales’s Watchkeeper France Team
Thales brought together the French SMEs that make up its Watchkeeper France Team at Eurosatory 2014 last week. The team has been put together to bid for the French Ministry of Defence’s tactical UAS acquisition contract.
The Watchkeeper is a new-generation tactical UAS that gives land forces the surveillance, reconnaissance and intelligence capability they need in the theatre of operation while significantly reducing risks to warfighters.
Thales is the prime contractor for Watchkeeper and is supplying the United Kingdom with 54 UAS and attendant ground systems, including 15 control stations.
