MDA’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Service

MacDonald, Dettwiler and Associates Ltd. (MDA), a global communications and information company, has announced that it has been contracted by the Commonwealth of Australia to continue MDA’s Unmanned Aerial Vehicle surveillance service for the Australian Defence Force in Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan until the middle of 2014.

MDA has been supporting the Australian Forces by providing critically important real-time intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance information directly to ground commanders since January 2010.
