TFL2701 Fanless Computer Platform

Trenton Systems has announced a new computer platform that merges 4th generation Intel® Core™ processor technology and GPU option card functionality in a fanless COM Express® system, making it ideal for rugged vehicle-mounted computing.

The new TFL2701 fanless computer platform is an ideal vehicle-mounted military computing solution for installing in small areas on manned and unmanned aircraft, ground vehicles, surface ships and submarines.

Civilian uses for the TFL2701 fanless computer include truck fleet management, telematics, and other computing locations where component mounting space is at a premium. This fanless computer carries several certifications including MIL-STD-810G, DO-160F and MIL-STD-461F. The TFL2701 features a choice of a long-life Intel® Core™ processor to ensure maximum multi-core processor performance. Support for an optional AMD Radeon™ E6760 embedded GPU card is built into the system for video intensive and extended I/O applications.

“Trenton takes fanless computing to a whole new level with the built-in CPU and GPU processing capabilities of the new TFL2701. Both our military and non-military customers will find the rugged compact enclosure design of the system an ideal fit in various vehicle-mounted computing applications,” said Michael Bowling, President of Trenton Systems. “The extensive MIL-STD and CE certifications of the TFL2701 are combined with the GPGPU processing capabilities of the system to help our worldwide military and civilian OEM customer’s exceed both their end user’s regulatory and high-end, fanless computing requirements.”

The TFL2701 fanless computer is available now.
