TECOM Wins Contract to Supply Expeditionary Ground Control Stations to AAI Unmanned Aircraft Systems

The Expeditionary Ground Control Station (EGCS) will support UAS flights

TECOM Industries, Inc. a Smiths Interconnect business, is pleased to announce the award of a firm fixed price contract from AAI Unmanned Aircraft Systems, and operating unit of Textron Systems, a Textron Inc. Company, for approximately $12.0M.

The contract award is for the production of Expeditionary Ground Control Station (EGCS) portable command and control stations. The EGCS portable command and control stations will support AAI’s Aerosonde® Small Unmanned Aircraft Systems (SUAS). This contract award is in support of the US Navy Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) services contract, encompassing both land and sea based unmanned aircraft systems operations for the Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force.
