The RFeye Node Plus 100-18 from CRFS is a rugged RF sensor payload covering 9 kHz to 18 GHz, engineered for rapid spectrum capture, monitoring, and signal intelligence aboard larger uncrewed platforms. Its 100 MHz instantaneous bandwidth supports wideband I/Q acquisition at 125 MS/s with 16-bit I/Q resolution, while programmable sweeping reaches typical rates of 390 GHz/s at 2 MHz RBW and 320 GHz/s at 61 kHz RBW. The receiver provides three switchable SMA RF inputs, 1 Hz tuning resolution, selectable internal, GPS, or external frequency referencing, and configurable trigger-on-event functions. These capabilities enable fast detection and improved probability of intercept where broad spectral visibility and retained signal data are required.
Designed for portable deployment in demanding operating environments, the RFeye Node Plus 100-18 is suited to Class 3–5 UAVs, UGVs, and USVs where payload capacity permits its integration. The unit supports remote and distributed operation, including concurrent measurement and geolocation tasks, and incorporates Gigabit Ethernet, USB connectivity, GPS input, and SyncLinc expansion interfaces. Typical power consumption is 40 W, with operation from 10–30 VDC or 56 VDC Power On Ethernet; the datasheet specifies an operating range of -30 to +50 °C and IP67 protection when fitted with the optional end plates. Its combination of broad frequency coverage, high-speed spectral acquisition, full-bandwidth I/Q recording and streaming, and rugged packaging makes it a capable RF payload for uncrewed spectrum-awareness and signal-intelligence missions.
