CRP Technology has received ISO 14001:2015 certification, recognizing its adherence to internationally established standards for environmental management systems.
The certification, issued by DNV, applies to CRP Technology’s production of plastic components through Selective Laser Sintering (SLS) and the manufacturing of powders for SLS and similar additive manufacturing methods.
The certified activities fall under IAF code 15 (rubber and plastic products) and were assessed according to the requirements of Technical Regulation RT-09.
ISO 14001:2015 certification represents a step in CRP Technology’s ongoing efforts to align its manufacturing processes with environmental management standards, including attention to resource efficiency and environmental impact across the product life cycle.
This development builds on the company’s existing EN 9100 certification for quality management in aerospace and defense applications. Together, the certifications indicate alignment with structured, standards-based models for both quality and environmental oversight.
CRP Technology has also implemented reuse initiatives consistent with circular economy principles. One example is the recovery and repurposing of Windform XT 2.0 powders. After their primary use in SLS 3D printing, the materials are processed into Windform XT 2.0 IMG, suitable for injection molding and FDM/FFF 3D printing in pellet format.
Franco Cevolini, CTO and CEO of CRP Technology, commented, “Achieving ISO 14001 certification is the tangible result of our industrial approach, which aims to combine technological innovation, production efficiency, and environmental responsibility. It is another step forward in the path we pursue every day to guarantee the highest standards of quality and sustainability.”
