Aeroprobe Corporation, an innovator in air data and flow measurement systems, has launched its fourth generation Micro Air Data Computer (μADC) product line.

Optimized for use on Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), Aeroprobe has been working to minimize Size, Weight and Power (SWaP) to extend flight capabilities without compromising on performance.

According to Aeroprobe, its μADCs are a critical component of the aircraft avionics system. They provide real time measurement of airspeed, altitude, angle-of-attack, and angle-of-sideslip which the flight control unit or pilot use to conduct the mission efficiently and safely.

The six new models of μADCs include: Atlas, Horizon, Defiant, Hyperion, Athena, and Endurance. Each was designed for a specific mission profile to meet the performance and functionality requirements of Aeroprobe customers.

Key features of the fourth generation μADC line include:

  • High Accuracy Altitude Measurement (AS8002 compliant) option on select models
  • Extended velocity range for select models
  • Improved accuracy
  • Better electromagnetic compatibility
  • Attitude Heading and Reference System (AHRS) available option on all models
