T-DRONES, a manufacturer of long-endurance unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and related hardware innovations, is developing additional drone frames this year in line with user demands.
Currently, two long-endurance vertical take-off and landing (VTOL) drones are available.
VA25
The VA25 drone features a locking propeller design. The propellers remain stable even in strong winds, significantly enhancing overall flight efficiency.
The VA25 drone offers up to 210 minutes of endurance, is IP55 rated, and achieves an average cruising speed of 80-90 km/h. Its user-friendly design enables quick assembly and disassembly in approximately 3 minutes.
Users can select various payloads based on specific mission requirements, facilitating the fulfillment of multiple task objectives.
VA23
The VA23 drone incorporates carbon fiber material for the overall frame of the drone. Weighing only 2kg, the frame is both lightweight and high-strength, while maintaining superior flight performance.
The VA23 is capable of extended flights lasting up to 4 hours, enhancing operational efficiency. Equipped with a backpack-style packing container, the drone is compact and lightweight, ideal for transporting.
The drone also features a reliable printed circuit board (PCB). A dual-circuit flight control servo power supply ensures flight safety, while a dual-circuit relay enables remote control of the camera and lights.
Intelligent UAV Printed Circuit Boards
T-DRONES VTOL series drone frames incorporate an intelligent PCB to enhance user experience.
All connectors are designed with a latch to effectively mitigate the risk of loose connections under vibration. All power supplies and relays include LED indicators to display working status.
The PCBs feature a high-precision Hall galvanometer. Additionally, the flight control power supply employs a multi-channel backup system, adhering to aviation industry standards. This ensures that even if one or two power supplies fail in extreme scenarios, flight operations remain unaffected.
The 12V power supply, regulated by the flight control’s high-low level output, shares the same source as the main 12V output.
Flight control installation is streamlined, requiring minimal connections; a single transfer board and cable manage all signal lines.
Improved Flight Times
The new lithium-ion batteries for the T-DRONES VTOL series boast high capacity, compact size, and high energy density, substantially extending drone flight times.
T-DRONES ARES batteries are currently offered in four specifications: 6s 16ah, 6s 22ah, 6s 27ah, and 6s 30ah.
These batteries feature high energy density, achieving an average of 250 Wh/kg, and provide increased electrical storage capacity.
They offer extended service life, maintaining full capacity for over 300 charge cycles. The batteries also provide added convenience due to their compact size and reduced weight compared to conventional batteries.
The discharge range for each battery cell spans from 3.0 to 4.2V, with a maximum safe charging current of 15A.
T-DRONES is committed to developing and producing VTOL UAV platforms and related accessories with enhanced endurance capabilities. Looking ahead, the company aims to introduce innovative products that cater to the needs of various users.
