HBK has introduced updates to its SensorCloud RTK service, improving access to precise RTK positioning for autonomous systems while enhancing reliability and cost-efficiency.
SensorCloud RTK is a multi-continent, IP-based RTK cloud network that streamlines traditionally complex RTK correction pipelines. When paired with compatible MicroStrain by HBK navigation systems, the solution delivers centimeter-level position accuracy from the first day of installation, enabling immediate deployment without the need for complex setup or calibration.
With MicroStrain by HBK navigation systems, network coverage spans the U.S., Europe, and other regions, supported by a dense network of base stations.
The service is designed to scale effortlessly. Developers can begin with the 3DM-GQ7-GNSS/INS and 3DM-RTK modem for testing, then transition to the cost-optimized 3DM-CV7-GNSS/INS for production. The SensorCloud RTK subscription model supports fleet expansion without requiring complicated new contracts.
Users also benefit from professional technical support provided by experienced Applications Engineers. Support includes assistance with initial setup, troubleshooting, and guidance on optimizing system performance.
SensorCloud RTK’s accuracy makes it suitable for a wide range of applications where precise positioning is critical—including autonomous agriculture, precision drone operations, and both legged and wheeled delivery robots.
Point One Partnership
HBK’s partnership with localization solutions provider Point One has further increased the reliability of SensorCloud RTK. Point One’s precision location technologies are known for their accuracy in vehicle automation and other demanding fields.
Through this collaboration, SensorCloud RTK is now available at a reduced cost: $650 per year for the software API and $1,500 per year for the 3DM-RTK cellular modem.
