Aveox Ultimate Torque motorsAveox Inc., a manufacturer of brushless DC motors and controllers, has announced the launch of its new Ultimate Torque (UT) line of brushless motors and stator/rotor sets. The new products are ideal for unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) propulsion systems, generators, gimbals, antenna platforms and other robotics applications.

Featuring high motor constants, low inertia and low weight, the UT series direct drive motors have been optimized with finite element analysis to provide high peak and continuous torque while minimizing cogging torque and reducing weight. The UT frameless stator/rotor sets, ranging in diameter from 1.26” to 9.0” and torque from .7in-lbs to over 500 in-lbs, are highly customizable and can be fitted with bespoke housings for unique applications.

John Nino, Aveox President & CEO, commented: “Adding the Ultimate Torque Motors to our successful BLDC motor family provides design engineers with a broad COTS platform for developing high performance systems for high reliability applications.”

David Palombo, Aveox Chief Technical Officer, said: “The UT Series motors offer the highest motor torque constant per weight and size in the industry, and have been designed to meet torque-density requirements of today’s advanced Military and Commercial Aerospace applications.”
