The XMC-AD2000E-FGX2-IO (WOLF-3570) I/O module combines cutting-edge video capture flexibility with onboard high-performance compute, integrating NVIDIA’s RTX™ A2000 Ada embedded GPU and WOLF’s Frame Grabber eXtreme (FGX2) technology.
Designed for uncrewed platforms and mission-critical ISR applications, the board supports up to four simultaneous SDI inputs and four SDI outputs, complemented by dual DisplayPort/HDMI/DVI outputs and optional CVBS and analog audio inputs. Video streams can be directed through the FGX2 for format conversion and then routed to the Ada GPU for AI inference, sensor processing, or encoding, with outputs rendered in digital or analog formats.
The NVIDIA Ada architecture advances HPEC and AI compute through a dense GPU core array built on TSMC’s 4N process. Featuring 3072 CUDA cores, 96 fourth-generation Tensor cores, and 24 third-gen Ray Tracing cores, the RTX A2000 offers exceptional throughput per watt, outperforming previous architectures at similar power levels (configurable from 30W to 50W).
The FGX2 subsystem enables rapid data movement and format conversion, while NVIDIA GPUDirect accelerates system responsiveness by permitting direct GPU memory access. WOLF’s field-proven thermal design ensures high efficiency in SWaP-constrained deployments.
