Auterion has launched the new NTRIP app, which allows users to enable RTK (real-time kinematic positioning) mode on any powered-by-Auterion vehicle. The solution is easy to configure, works robustly in all locations, and doesn’t require any additional hardware.

NTRIP (Networked Transport of RTCM via Internet Protocol) is a communication protocol that enables the distribution of Real-Time Correction (RTC) data for GNSS (Global Navigation Satellite System) systems over the internet.

Enterprise operators or drone service providers with drone fleets that deploy the NTRIP app can achieve centimeter-level accuracy for position estimates and image geotagging within their surveying or inspection operations where high-precision positioning data is needed.

Customers can purchase an NTRIP license for their vehicles from Auterion’s website and easily install it over the air.

Learn more about Mission Cloud Sync and NTRIP app in this video:

Auterion offers drone operators a connected workflow experience that makes their operations more efficient, impactful, and streamlined—all thanks to the tight integration between all the software platform components: from the vehicle operating in the field, over the air to the cloud, and into applications to process the data.

Mission Cloud Sync

Mission Cloud Sync saves time, allows users to enjoy workflow continuity, and enables the centimeter level accuracy required for the data. Users can also prepare missions with precision and convenience, upload it to their vehicle in just a few simple steps, and then be ready to take flight.

Thanks to Mission Cloud Sync, users can:

  • Plan missions using Auterion Mission Control (AMC)
  • Save missions to the Cloud
  • Visualize missions in Auterion Suite
  • Get missions automatically synchronised over the air on Auterion Mission Control running on a Ground Control Station

During the flight, users can view the uploaded assets in the cloud with Auterion Suite in near real time.
