In this webinar Trimble Applanix will be discussing their newly released Trimble PX-1 RTX product in support of drone delivery. The Trimble PX-1 RTX is a small, lightweight GNSS-Inertial module that allows drone integration companies to add precise positioning capabilities to their drone delivery systems so that operators can more efficiently plan and execute takeoff, navigation, and landing tasks. With Trimble CenterPoint® RTX corrections, PX-1 RTX delivers consistent navigation without additional infrastructures.
Key features of the product include, centimeter-level positioning performance without a need for supplying RTK corrections from a dedicated ground base station, precision solution with single GNSS antenna and IMU heading without magnetic interference, providing accurate takeoff and landing in GNSS-challenged environments, BVLOS flying without baseline limitations (distance between GNSS rover and ground base station), and applanix IN-Fusion+ multi-sensor aided inertial technology, providing consistent performance in all environments.
Topics include:
- How the PX-1 RTX system works – i.e. the core technologies involved
- Applicable Advanced Air Mobility user scenarios
- Benefits and industry differentiators for the PX-1 RTX solution
