1521 Industrial-Grade Surface Mount MEMS DC Accelerometer

The 1521 is a rugged and cost-effective industrial-grade surface mount MEMS DC accelerometer designed to suit a wide variety of requirements for drone and robotics OEMs. Available in a variety of g-range options from ±2g to ±400g, it incorporates a MEMS capacitive sense element and a custom IC with integrated sense amplifier and differential output stage.

Each hermetically sealed package houses SDI's MEMS capacitive sense element for DC measurement, paired with a custom ASIC incorporating a sense amplifier and differential output stage. This design ensures that the device remains relatively insensitive to temperature changes and gradients. Each package undergoes individual testing, programming, and calibration by SDI, and is marked with a serial number on its top and bottom surfaces for easy traceability.
