JOUAV, a drone manufacturer and provider of industrial UAV solutions, has unveiled its fourth-generation intelligent VTOL drone hangar, the JOS-C700.

The drone hangar, paired with the upgraded CW-15V drone system, is seen as a pivotal advancement in fully autonomous drone operations designed to meet the escalating demands of modern industry and public safety sectors.

Engineered for continuous 24/7 remote operation, the JOS-C700 offers a comprehensive, end-to-end automated workflow that covers every stage of drone deployment, from secure storage and autonomous takeoff to intelligent mission execution, real-time data transmission, AI-driven analysis, and automatic recovery with charging.

This all-in-one drone hangar system is tailored for critical applications such as emergency response, infrastructure inspection, and public safety surveillance, providing unmatched operational efficiency and reliability.

Built to withstand harsh environments, the JOS-C700 excels under extreme conditions. It functions effectively at altitudes up to 4,500 meters and maintains an IP55 protection rating, operating smoothly within a broad temperature range from -20°C to 50°C. Its dual air-conditioning system stabilizes internal conditions, while integrated environmental sensors monitor wind speed, direction, and rainfall. Continuous live video feeds from inside and outside the hangar, coupled with an automatic fire suppression system, ensure high safety standards and real-time situational awareness.

The JOS-C700 offers expansive operational coverage, supporting a single-unit radius of up to 50 kilometers. It enables multi-hangar and multi-drone cooperative deployment through grid-based and “leapfrog” inspection modes, which not only optimize area coverage but also reduce hardware investment and lower ongoing operational and maintenance expenses, delivering significant cost efficiencies to operators.

The system features standardized quick-release mounts capable of accommodating up to two payloads simultaneously. This flexibility allows rapid payload swapping to support diverse mission profiles, enabling comprehensive multi-source data collection tailored to specific operational needs.

JOUAV’s JOS-C700 integrates advanced visual-inertial simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) alongside scene-matching positioning technologies, greatly enhancing autonomous navigation accuracy. This system’s robust resistance to GNSS jamming and spoofing secures reliable performance even in electromagnetically challenging environments.

AI is deeply embedded within the JOS-C700’s core. Equipped with an onboard AI engine housing an extensive model library that recognizes over 80% of real-world targets, ranging from smoke and fire to buildings, water bodies, and waste, the drone hangar system offers powerful generative AI capabilities. Operators can interact with the system using natural language queries, receiving intelligent, real-time descriptions and analyses of targets and incidents. This interactive AI support accelerates situational understanding and decision-making in dynamic operational contexts.

The unveiling of the JOS-C700 at UAS EXPO 2025 is said to underscore JOUAV’s commitment to pioneering smart, fully autonomous drone ecosystems. This innovative platform redefines the future of intelligent drone hangars by delivering seamless, resilient, and cost-effective drone operations across demanding industries worldwide.
